Coachella, May 1st:

Nine Inch Nails (headlining... I know! Crazy! Trent does have a new album coming out though.)
The Faint
The Fiery Furnaces
Tegan and Sarah
The Futureheads

That's amazing. I mean, I'm pretty sure I hate huge festival style concerts... really I just hate huge crowds of people. Especially the kinds of people who go to huge festival style concerts. See how that works? Then again, NIN in the mud could be fun, not to mention The Fiery Furnaces are the best live band I've ever seen, not to mention I'd very much like to hear Tegan and Sarah and The Futureheads live.

And I can dance to The Faint.

$80 plus flight. ehhhhhhhhh I dunno. I know each of those bands have played here and will play here again.

ha ha ha.

Music fests are lame. You'd get all smelly. Plus you don't have a tent.

If I don't have a tent, how come I'm pitching one right now?

I think I'm going to throw out my entire music collection and put The Downward Spiral on repeat.

But what about the other halos? Sure, Piggy from TDS is good, about what about Piggy (Track one) from FDTS. That's even better!

The remixes on the singles are way better than the remixes on the remix albums.

i dunno about that, the remixes on halo 16 are some of my favorites, the where is everybody remix is especially good, and what about reptilian off of halo7, that shit is pure gold, and halo 6 brought us the happiness in slavery remix i love so much.....

Ok, so Halo 16 probably qualifies as a remix CD, but the remix you speak of is by Telefon Tel Aviv and probably has a little too much vocoder for my liking. Though, I do like other tracks on the CD, so I'd say we're about even there.

Halo 7 is a single for March of the Pigs, or more appropriately an EP. NOT a remix CD. Score one for me.

Halo 6 is definitely a remix CD. The Happiness in Slavery remix is amazing. +2 points for you.

My favourite remixes are on the Closer single/EP, though. Plus one point me.

I guess that makes the score about 3 to 3.

Fixed is tits all together.

Now, who has the multidisc version of halo7 and who has the single disc more tracked australian import?

February 11, 2005 @ 18:26:14

coleco.pngxopl (#001)

I've got the English multidisc import. 7 tracks total.

I've got what he's got, I ripped it when his back was turned. halo 7 is a fresh disc, but reptilian is a straight out rethink of the concept of reptile from downward spiral, a remix for sure. Though I suppose you are right, it's not exactly a remix albumn.
