You and me both. Actually, I need a steady day job first.

If you made a coffeehouse/bar like that I would spend money I didn't have on espresso & gin.

Re: smoking ban too late?

Urgh. Just wrong. Haven't been out since the ban yet, looking forward to it. But I think the Red Dragon or Lyle's needs a fog machine to keep their looks up.

Re: coffee chromatics

Sweet Jesus, that sounds good. I'm heading to Hawaii in a couple months, maybe I should pack my french press and a grinder for all of the Kona goodness I'm going to ingest while I'm there.

Re: bust a recap in yo' ass

I caught the MPR segment on my way home from work as well. Terrible. I couldn't fathom why they would choose to interview this guy and let him hijack their broadcast. Some chumps crusade isn't news.

I then bought four cases of wine.

Re: liar liar, anus on fire?

Here's my dumbest story from my retail days. The context: I was working in a newsstand in San Diego, circa 2000. My customer was a fat, 40ish man with a spotty mustache who had just purchased a copy of Newsweek with pocket change.
Me: Would you like a bag for that? (Gets bag ready.)
Him: No. (Pause.) Save it for President Clinton - when he's in Leavenworth!
Me: Ok, sure. (Puts bag away.)
Him: And I'm not talking about a country club, I'm talking FEDERAL PRISON!
Me: You got it. (Starts looking around for billy club.)
Him: (Pauses, looks around, leaves.)

Re: episode 69: attack of the penis

I think that might have been the singer in Jabba's place in Return of the Jedi.

I checked out the Drawn! blog, awesome site. I spend entirely too much time surfing the net looking at cool research. I need to get more drawing done.

Re: episode 69: attack of the penis

Hey, thanks for the write-up. Glad you like the site. And yeah, one of my earlist memories is watching the first Star Wars at the local drive in with my parents. I think it's safe to say it played a big part in my artistic development.
