ore... miners mine for ore...
chasm... you might find a chasm in a mine or on a mountain or in a valley or in a canyon... you know... where miners mine.
there could be ore in one of these chasms. An ore chasm if you will.
One might even give a miner an ore chasm...
While we are at it, "Asphalt? Is that like a butt crack?"

This is just fucking perfect. The Democrats are shooting themselves in the foot by crying like girls in front of the media about the big bad Republicans. Instead they might consider actually demostrating why people SHOULD vote Democrat rather than just why they shouldn't vote Republican.
Oh, and maybe they could concentrate on something important like election reform.

Yahoo is giving search data to the Feds. That's the last time I use Yahoo... oh right, I already never go to their ugly as sin clutter-trap. OH SNAP!
Fight the good fight, Google.
To reiterate: Fuck Bush, and Fuck Yahoo as well, now.

Minnesota's Satanic/Vampyric [sic] Gubernatorial candidate Jonathon Sharkey has an interview in the City Pages. What really interests me is that last paragraph:
"Even though my wife got fired a couple of hours after my press conference. I don't know if you know about that one. She got fired from her job as a bus driver for Princeton schools because she admitted to being a pagan."
If that's true, that Sharkey's wife has been driving buses in that school district for five years, and that she hasn't been pushing her religious beliefs onto the children, or campaigning on the job or something — which almost certainly has to be true or they would have fired her long ago rather than just now when they find out her beliefs — then I think it is clearly, and without a doubt, a violation of her 1st Amendment rights and a vivid example of religious discrimination.
a bed of evil and lettuce

It's true. Morelos in Whittier on 26th sells the Broodwich. They try to pass this sandwich of pure evil off as a "Torto Cubano," but allow me to describe this thing and it's ingredients:
chipotle mayo
onions
lettuce
jalapeños
beans
guacamole
bacon
ham and cheese
Yes, that's right... bacon, ham, and cheese. BUT, but, that's not the end of it. You are asked to "Choose a meat..." (bwwwaaa?!) to put onto this thing. They want you to pick a meat to put onto this bacon, ham, and cheese sandwich. You could put steak on it. Chicken. Fish. Or, as I wisely chose, the amazing carnitas at Morelos. They put their carnitas into this sandwich as well.
This fucking thing must have been ten feet tall. It wasn't some deli slices of ham on it either. We're talking a big fucking slab of Easter Sunday quarter-inch-thick ham. And crisp real, fresh bacon. And, everybody knows guacamole goes great with bacon! And, it has the tastiest jalapeños of your life. And beans. Fucking beans. I mean, why not?
I'm still full. ¡Viva Fidel!
