I don't know what's funnier, the look on the guard's face, the sheer number of angles provided as links on the bOINGbOING post, or the comments on flickr.
I think it's the comments that win.

Amidst the sea of self affirming crap my mother emails me (Hi Mom! Love you!), every once in awhile, there is a gem.

It's amazing what a search result can yield these days... such as a crazy Japanese watermelon eating contest Flash game.

"In August, the previously unknown [Watergate] tape from June 23, 1972 was released. Recorded only a few days after the break-in, it documented Nixon and Haldeman formulating a plan to block investigations by having the CIA claim to the FBI (falsely) that national security was involved. The tape was referred to as a 'smoking gun.' With this last piece of evidence, Nixon's few remaining supporters deserted him."
best winter ever?

Other than the sun hiding away for like ten days, I think I could handle winter if it was like this every year. Seriously, it's be really warm (I've gone out in hoodies or spring coats most days), and there's these frequent light dusting snowstorms. It's actually quite nice.

So, I was listening to what I think was a rerun of "Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me!" on MPR this afternoon. They were replaying a segment about how archaeologists had made a discovery that we've been wrong about the number of the beast all this time. It actually isn't 666, it is 616! They pointed out that 616 is the area code of Ann Arbor, MI. One of the guys quipped, "Do you think Satan has spent the last 2,000 years going, 'WHY ISN'T ANYONE CALLING?!'"
After that, they replayed another segment from the next week where they were actually in Ann Arbor, and they had to issue a correction because 616 is actually the area code for Grand Rapids, not Ann Arbor. To quote the program, "So, if any of you want to get ahold of Beezlebub, he's in Grand Rapids."
Then, they replayed a third segment, from again the next week. Here they had to issue an appology because apparently George Bush was in Grand Rapids the same day that they said the comment about getting ahold of Beezlebub. "We had no idea. We want to appologize to George Bush, and to Beezlebub."
Now, what are the chances this whole time we'd have gotten 666 mixed up with 616? And the chances that they'd do their fact finding wrong and think the 616 area code was Ann Arbor? And the chances they'd then be issuing a correction associating Grand Rapids with the devil on the same day George Bush was there?
Clearly, this could not have been coincidence alone. Clearly, it was almost meant to be this way. Clearly, Bush is the devil, and this is proof. Seriously, what else could the significance of the number 616 be?
like anyone can do that
