It occured to me after seeing the hilarious Clerks II that Kevin Smith looks exactly like Peter Jackson, and that he should star in the role of Peter Jackson in "The Making Of The Lord Of The Rings." ("The Lord Of The Lord Of The Rings" as Jesse puts it.)
Seriously, just think about it...
Smith as Jackson, chewing out Liv Tyler in Elvish.
Or, chasing an orc around with a prop sword.
Of course there would be a strong one-ring, my-precious-style madness subplot as the stress ramped up.
