Scary... I was sitting in my computer chair at home here, and next thing I know I wake up, still in my chair, and the clock says 7:00 and I don't know whether it is AM or PM. My first reaction is like, "Oh shit, am I supposed to be getting ready for work?" Then I realise it is definitely in the PM and somehow I fell asleep in my chair after work, and it is still today. Narcolepsy?
I've been playing Kingdom of Loathing. I've gotten to level 3, and it is very entertaining, and there is always something new to explore. However, they only give you like 40 adventures per day. I mean, you can get more by drinking or eating, or preferably perhaps mixing your own cocktail, but once you get fall down drunk you're also done for the day. It is probably for the best. If they didn't limit me to 40 a day I doubt I'd ever do anything else. I certainly wouldn't be writing in my blog right now.
I completed my supervisor training today. Two full days. Well, not really full... we got an hour lunch and out early. Actually, sith's boss was at the training. I spoke to him a bit today after sith pointed him out to me yesterday.
They had this crazy Hispanic psychologist guy named Javier who analysed our `DISC' supervisor behaviour role profile thingies. He took the time to do a brief 1-on-1 with each of us. He was pretty good at reading everybody. When he got to me, he looked at my results which were fairly balanced across the board but with S being my primary and C being my secondary. He asked me what I did, and what my boss was like. Everybody else he had told how they needed to grow. Where they needed to shift their focus. He told me he didn't know what to tell me... that I had it all figured out... that I just needed to stay right where I was and not screw with anything. That's right bitches. INFJ power. Actually, he did bring up Meyers-Briggs and mocked the smarmy elitest attitude that can come with the test, which of course I wouldn't know anything about, using the smarmiest voice possible, "oh I'm an FJ, are you an ES" then in his normal voice, "I don't care what your personality profile is, your name is Peter, how about you start with that." Pretty funny.
During lunch I was sitting inside Espresso Royale or whatever in Dinkytown. One half of this lesbian couple from the grocery store last night happened to be sitting on one of the tables outside just across the window from me. I thought that was funny. It was funny to watch her watch everyone else. She didn't pay much attention to the guys. She kind of shifted noticably as a table of frosh sat down next to her. Then I noticed this girl with almost the exact same haircut walk by and just stare the entire time. The girl walking by tooootally checked out this girl from the grocery store sitting right on the other side of the window. Di pulled the wool from over my eyes, and I think I liked it better when it was there and I just assumed every girl was straight.
Oh, then the girls who sat down next to my grocery store "friend" and caused her to shift got up and came inside and asked for jobs. Long, long ago I had actually inquired about a job at this very place. They pretty much told me there wasn't an opening, and were reluctant to give me an application anyway. The female barista kind of told these girls also that there were no openings, but then the male manager was standing nearby and told a very different story. He was very interested in these two girls working at the café, assured them there were openings and kind of fought with the female about that little fact which was rather revealing, and asked them several questions like where they were from and so on.

work has been extra dull.
i've up level 5 with two characters although i haven't figured out how to mix cocktails yet. actually, i feel like i haven't figured much out yet.
i'm not usually a game player.
but if you tell my your character's name i'll send you a gnollish plunger and a viking helmet. and maybe a bungbear bungard.

I made the mistake of getting my character really, really drunk yesterday. Turns out you can't do much but hurt yourself in that state.
It's pretty much a learning experience every day.

I'm a level 3 pastamancer (noodle neophyte).
I have a six pound mosquito familiar named Gog of the Forest.
I've got extra items: spooky stick, oriole headdress, saucepan hat, knobgoblin pants (I'm wearing bugbear bungguard pants).
I don't know what to do with most of what I have.

I justed added Belinda the Blind, an accordian thief, yesterday. She's only level two. I think you have to be level 3 to join a clan, and level 5(?) to start one up? We should definitely have a clan, though.

level 9 to start one. but you need to chat to find a good one and i hate the chat. hates it. and i feel stupid just joining one at random.
i just figured a MESS of shit out -- mainly, if you donate $10 you get a mr. accessory and that boosts all your stats by +15.

I'll be in the woods for the weekend... all adventuring will have to wait til Monday... of course I'll have tons of them saved up by then.
