I'm really, super busy. Moving, cleaning, shopping, working... hopefully I'll be back to my normal emo-blogging self next week, unless something super memorable happens before then.
I got my keys to my new place Sunday. The building manager was like an hour late to meeting me, so I wasted time at the Minnesota Institute of Arts two blocks from my place, cause it is free. I can tell I will spend a lot of time there. They have decent marbles, and I really dig that Victorian room upstairs.
They did a shitting job of cleaning my new place. There is a plastic dixie cup shredded in my garbage disposal, the fridge and freezer stink, and there is what can only be dried urine on the toilet seat. I've been re-cleaning, but haven't gotten to the bathroom yet. I won't have cable + internet at the new place til Friday, so I'm still at my old place til at least then.
I was shopping for things today for the apartment. And for a mighty mouse, or just hoping to play with one, but no mighty meese to be found. The ladies at Marshall Fields tried to sell me a cornflower blue set of towels. Cornflower blue. Her words.

You've never been to the MIA? The East Asian section is outstanding, especially some of the buddhist art. The park across the street is fun too, especially in the snow.
