first somebody fucks with my belovéd Tube in London
then the tech guy breaks my server at work for two hours on my second day when my boss (the guy I'm replacing) is home sick
then I get a voice mail from ian who says, "there's a rodent in our house. I saw it run from the kitchen to the bathroom, but I'm going to work. find it when you get home. I shut the doors but it is small enough to go under them." He stuffed rags under his door, not ours. I called him, and he said he "had to catch the bus." I'm like, hello, dickface, it is Cub Foods, call in to tell them you have to deal with an emergency and catch the next bus and take care of the fucking rodent when you know its vicinity rather than have me deal with it when I get home. he said he didn't care. I said I took the rags out from under his door jam. how do you like that, bitch?
then, just to sweeten the dealings of the day, when I got to Pracna for my after-work with the sith, I had left my ID in my work bag (because my ID is invalid without my letter from the state DMV... our state that is shut down because of budget disputes... and work needed elaborate identifcation to prove I'm not an alien), so they wouldn't serve me my Guinness.
fuck fuckity fuck fuck fuck... a guy deals with all this shit, and his favourite city 'splodes, and you can't give him a fucking beer? A bus blows up 3 blocks from his London university, and you can't give him a simple Guinness?
I quit this shit.

See, long, long ago, there was a musical genre called punk rock (not to be confused with capital p Punk of the emm-tee-vee [meet sue be she!]). And, in said genre, there were bands who were pretty cool long ago. In this instance, I was quoting a band called the dead kennedy's, a band that did indeed rock with punkitude. But then the rest of the band sued Jello and stole the music and released new cds with new mixes of all the songs and they all kind of sound like crap.
Speaking of punk, do all the folks here love Iggy Pop the proper amount? I often worry that he doesn't get the love he so rightly deserves...

Rodent education: If you see a rodent rest assured that it has already invited all its relatives to also hang their hat at your abode. Best invest in some Dcon and a nose plug if one of the little buggers crawls in the wall cause their stinch is powerful for about 3 days.
