I never think to blog about the changes I make or the things I do behind the scenes. I guess I just want it to always work perfectly. I don't want to make you the reader do any extra work.

So, I guess you can just ignore this post if you'd like to continue with that kind of relationship.

Anybody else: I added a <base href="http://www.xopl.com/" /> tag to my page. Due to that move, I had to make sure all my links had absolute paths. I may have missed one somewhere. If you find something b0rken, please do tell me.

Why did I do that? Well, I think all links ought to be absolute anypoo. I mean, yes, it is annoying if you move a directory cause you have to grep the paths and switch them to the new one, but at least that can be easily automated. Besides thinking links should be absolute, there is the little matter of the googlejacking I've been reading about as of late. I highly doubt it would ever affect this site, but I kind of like to try to do everything the right way every time because eventually then it becomes natural and doesn't slow you down anymore. If you only do things the right way when you have to, then it slows you down big time. I don't even have to think about how to write valid XHTML or CSS anymore, for instance.
