I don't like buttered noodles because my sister once found a dead centipede in her buttered egg noodles. I must have been like 5, and I didn't even see the offending insect. Just hearing of the event made a bigger impression on me than her I think. Of course it is completely assinine, because I have no problem eating noodles in sauce for instance. And a centipede would have an easier time hiding in sauce. More than anything I think it is the taste of buttered noodles. It tastes like finding a dead centipede in my food.

But the dead insects are the best bit! That's half the reason for going to Noodles & Company right there...
