It is total suckage outside. I can't believe how much snow we got. The drive home wasn't so bad, but parking was TERRIBLE! 50% of the parking can't be used because of the Snow Emergency, so everything is full. After driving in circles and getting almost stuck several times, and experience burning, searing contact pains in my eyeball I could do nothing about, I finally found a spot 3 blocks away. I was doing some scraping to try to find where the fuck the curb was, when the local bum (who wears a fireman's jacket) came out of seemingly nowhere. He informed me that I had woken him up from his nap. I was not properly dressed for the walk home.

I was hating on Cub tonight a bit and just when I was about to hit rock bottom and commit murders this strange old man shows up and makes conversation with me about how much worse the blizzards were when he was a kid and how it was compounded by the unreliable cars and poorer clothing.

On Thursday at Cub I saw some pretty weird things, too. I saw a piece of crap white guy with an East African muslim woman (in full muslim gear) walking the obligatory 10 steps behind and 2 to the right. Following him. She was with him. I also saw this little girl shopping with her mom, and the little girl kept saying, "It's boring here. I don't like it here. There's nothing to do here. Can't we move back to California? I want to move back to California." Then she said to her mom, "You can't have Valentines Day here." Weird. I'm sure mommy loved to hear that. Finally there was this older black mother with her son, and her son was like "What kinda pancake mix do you want? Aunt Jemima or Cub?" And his mom was like, "I don't want no Aunt Jemima!"

Heh.

Snow rules! I drove to MOA to see a movie, and then when we got there, we found out that the late movies had been cancelled because of the weather. Then we spun out on the ramp to North 77. I don't think I would have survived the trip if there had been any more than 5 cars on the road all night. Bumper cars are the coolest. The Aunt Jemima story made me laugh.
