Drink Like a Pirate Day and Talk Like a Pirate Day have came and went. I'd love to write a hilariously thorough recap of Saturday, but the fact is after they lowered the pirate punch to $2.50 at the first bar, my memory of the night begins to fade. I remember seven of us sitting at the 331 wondering why nobody else showed, only to be met by five pirate wenches at the next bar. Somehow they noticed us walking down the street and caught up. Can't imagine how they'd spot us. Then four more of my friends caught up to us at that same bar. We were officially in pirate party territory. A few bars down the road four MORE pirates joined us for awhile, but frankly I was so far off the merry-go-round by that point I only really remember one of them. I'm pretty sure Psycho Suzi's installed electric motors to spin the thatched tiki umbrellas sitting over the tables, cause all I can remember of being there was everything spinning and then leaving for Satana's.
