bOINGbOING first and now FARK are linking to Wil Wheaton's crypto blog entry. First off, I'd just like to point out that considering the format and the pen annotations, I would suspect this is actually an intercepted (read: he listened and wrote it down) shortwave radio "numbers station" broadcast rather than a message from Wil himself.
Numbers stations are fascinating, though. Totally rad when you read about them.
I'm pretty irritated that my idea to post some blog stenography will probably look like I'm copying Wil Wheaton, now. That happens to me all the time. There's never enough time to implement any of my ideas. I think I'll just kill myself.
Then again, stenography is different than crypto, and my point would be to launch a covert and secure line of communication rather than playing the "who can crack this crypto for me" game.
