Sometimes it takes me awhile to realise that something actually happened I should blog about in consideration of my future self. Last night Emily came over and we exchanged Chrimbo presents. She got me The Bart Book, a Simpsons item that on one page depicts Bart wearing a Cartman of Southpark t-shirt. I gave her a box wrapped in wrapping paper. ... You know the kind? ... a rectangular prism, having six flat sides joined at 90-degree angles ... covered in red wrapping paper ... finished with gold ribbon and a gold bow ... one of those self-adhesive kinds of bows ... insidetheboxwasaoneofakindjournalfromexlibrisanonymous ... I think she liked it.
I also finished my shopping last night. Braving the cold, I went off to Toys R' Us where all pirate ships had been sold out. Oh well, I got my nephew a pirate island instead. The check out girl, who was totally checking me out, was this super hot Beyoncé-looking girl. "Can I get a phone number" she asked. It was just for the computer.
