Well, it's a new year, and I could get really nostalgic about time... but I won't. I'll just say that it is now 11 years ago that I put up my first website. Check out the archive for the rest of that story.
One of the things on this site is an online magic 8 ball. For some reason, the monthly traffic to the 8 ball is up 10-fold from last year. I just noticed this, which got me talking to Jesse about it. I brought up the fact that for some reason when I made it I had the "Maybe" response doubled up. When I created the annotated archival version of the site, I "fixed the glitch."
And, now tonight I get an email from one Ms. Adams, and emailed her back:
Subject: your 8 ball
why would you put " you are going to die" in your 8 ball? is it a big joke? meant to scare people?

Well, Ms. Adams, I'd say it is pretty clear that you are going to die. I'm sorry if that isn't the response you were looking for.

well death is a part of life. big shocker. it's just that that came up when my question had nothing. absolutely nothing to do with that answer. and i wondered why you put that in there. oh and i will not die, i will life AND delclare the works of the Lord. Amen.
I didn't say when you were going to die.
